Tiers, leagues and levels

Snakoff has three kinds of progress, and they measure different things. Your tier shows how well you play over time. Your weekly league is a fresh race every Monday. Your level grows with everything you play. Here is how each one works.

Tiers: Bronze to Legend

There are five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Legend. They come from points, and every day you play a run that counts earns some. The better your place that day, the more points: finish in the top 10% and you get about 90; finish around the middle and you get about 50.

Points only ever go up, so a tier is never lost. A bad day costs you nothing but a smaller gain. A player around the middle of the field reaches Silver in about five days and Gold in about three weeks. Me shows your tier, your points and how far the next tier is.

Each tier unlocks looks that can’t be bought: emblem frames (Laurel, Flame, Orbit and Crown), bite pulses, snakes and trails. You keep them for good.

Weekly leagues

The Week tab of the leaderboard is your league table: up to 30 players, named after your tier (“Silver league”). It runs from Monday to Sunday and resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC. Every day you play adds the same day points as above, so playing more days matters as much as playing well.

When the week ends, the top 7 move up a league and the bottom 7 move down. Moving down a league never moves your tier down. When a table has fewer than 30 real players, it is topped up with bots, marked as bots.

Levels 1 to 50

Your level counts what you have done, not how you placed. Every run that counts gives 20 XP, every round you get through gives 30 more, and winning a day gives 100. Each new level pays 25 coins, and every fifth level gives a look: a snake, a name colour, a title, an icon or a result entrance.

Which one should you chase?

You don’t have to choose. One good run a day moves all three: it earns points for your tier and your league, and XP for your level. If you want the fastest climb, play every round you can reach, because each round you get through earns XP, and every day you play adds league points.
