How it works
Snakoff is a daily Snake game. Everyone in the world plays the same game each day, and every round the better half goes through.
Playing
- Swipe to turn. Keep your finger down to turn again.
- Eat as much food as you can in 45 seconds.
- Don't hit the walls or your own tail.
- For a second after Go, a crash is forgiven.
- Prefer buttons? In Settings, choose arrow buttons or tapping the left and right side. On a computer, the arrow keys and WASD work too.
A day of rounds
- The day has four rounds. In your time, they run like this:
Round 1 00:00 – 12:00 UTC Round 2 12:00 – 16:00 UTC Round 3 16:00 – 20:00 UTC Final 20:00 – 24:00 UTC - In each round you get one warm-up, then one run that counts. Leaving the run counts as 0. Want more practice? Practice is always open, on its own board, and Endless has no clock at all.
- When a round closes, the better half goes through: everyone who scored at least as much as the player in the middle.
- If you were through and don't play the next round, you're out.
- Missed a round? You can still join the next one, as long as you haven't played today.
- Later rounds are harder: Round 2 is faster, Round 3 has one food fewer, and the final has both.
- Whoever does best in the final wins the day. Two players level on food and time alive are split by who ate their last food first.
Tiers
Every day you play a run that counts earns points, and the better your place, the more you get (the top 10% of the day get about 90). Points move you up through the tiers: Bronze, Silver (250), Gold (900), Diamond (2,400) and Legend (5,000). Points are never lost, so neither is a tier. New tiers unlock new snake looks, and you keep them. More in tiers, leagues and levels.
Reminders
Turn on reminders in Settings. We'll tell you when you're through, when a round you haven't played is about to close, and when the results are in. On iPhone, add Snakoff to your Home Screen first.
